- Welcome to blog. I started running in 2008 after the need to have a new challenge and the fact that I had way to much excess energy to burn. Started to really enjoy running and ran my first race the Bath Half Marathon in March 2009- and I now have caught the running bug. You can read about my training and progress for future events- notibaly chicago 2010 here although you’ll probably read more about me drinking, pizza and chocolate. I’ll occasionally throw in the odd rant or two. Or three. OK, there’ll probably be a rant on every post. Photos, videos etc will also be posted when I finally figure out how :-)
